We were a little late, but we got some veggies planted about 2 weeks ago. And, yea!!!!, there is a pepper growing. I am excited to finally have a veggie garden. We have 2 green peppers, 2 orange peppers, 2 eggplants, and 4 cantaloupe. We are also growing some tomatoes in the hanging planters that grow the plants upside down. I am going to plant some marigolds around the plants to help ward off undesirable insects. Next year we will probably make another raised bed and plant some zucchini, watermelon, and maybe some carrots or onions. It will be so nice to have some fresh veggies. Even the veggies at the commissary here are half bad like in Germany.

Keara just keeps getting cuter and cuter. Give her a hug for me!
Congratulations on your garden! I would just like a little grass around our house... But oh well. No grass = no mowing! :)

Cute! I have a squash plant growing right now in with my flowers :) I wonder if it will actually produce veggies. hmmmmmmm. yummy:)
It goes against everything I believe in to comment on your veg garden:)I'll comment on Keara though! Soooo adorable!
Jenny P. - I was going to start off with a veggie disclaimer, so that those of you who have lachanaphobia (a fear of vegatables) could skip the first part and move on down to the most important part, but I forgot. Sorry!!!!
